We had a really good stay at Hostal Blanca and would definitely recommend staying there. Location: We stayed there at the end of the season (beginning of October) and can Picafort is a nice spot to stay. It's more relaxed than Palma and the beaches are also nicer. It has a long nice sandy beach with clear water and a lot of restaurants and good supermarkets close to the hostal (10-15 minutes walk to the big cheaper ones, but smaller ones were right next to us). The hostal is super close to the beach, it took as only 2 minutes to get there by foot. The bus stop was also really close (8 minutes walk). We traveled from there around without any problems. The only thing to keep in mind is that the bus stops get reduced during the time of the year, so if you want to travel more or faster around a car would be recommended or the stay during the main season. Room and staff: The staff was very friendly, responsive and accommodating. It felt more like a stay in hotel than a hostal with daily cleaning and a lot of space in the room. We had the room with the kitchen on the highest floor and even though it didn't face the oceanside directly (and didn't have it in its description), we had a nice view to the ocean from the balcony anyway and it still had a more private feel to it, since it was located on the side street. The room was very clean, modern and had a lot of space with an open closet. The two bathrooms with sliding doors and a hair dryer were clean and had soap. During the night the room was nice and quiet. The kitchen was equipped well, with pots and pans, a fridge, a coffee machine and a kettle. We didn't use the breakfast offering but had a look at it walking by and the breakfast room looked very nice and spacious and with a lot to offer. They told us that they could even offer vegan food if told a day before, which is very nice for vegan people.

First of all the location is excellent - its in the middle of Can Picafort, right next to the beach, shops, restaurants and other amenities. Its on the second row to the beach, so its less than a 1 minute walk. It's also fairly easily accesible by public bus, from the main road, as the bus stop is at the top of the road by the Mercadona, including for the A32 airport bus. I was travelling alone, with my bike, so i would say the room was perfect for me, however if i was traveliing with my partner and children, the room would be incredibly cramped with a cot in. The hotel and room were perfect for my 1 week stay. Having a fridge was an absolute plus point and one i wasn't expecting - it makes such a difference being able to have some chilled drinks, fruit, food etc! The kettle, microwave, teas, water etc are downstairs in the public sitting rooms area - although a minor inconvenience to go downstairs to boil the kettle, i really didn't mind. The rooms were very basic, but there were towels in the bathroom, a safe for valuables and out on the balcony a small extendable drying rack for any washing/beach clothes etc. There is a laundrette in the next door building, which is really convenient and seems easy to use - they had instructions in english & spanish. The TV had spanish, french, german and english channels. There was an a/c, but i only used it the first day and worked fine.

Location of the Hostal very convenient , just few steps away from the sea shore and isolated from the street traffic. Balcony had nice fragmented view to the sea . Long and wide beach allows finding a good place to enjoy the sun and swimming in the sea easy at any time of the day. Hostal staff extremely friendly and proffesional. Very nicely desigend breakfast buffet providing veriaty of food for every tatste. Very good value for money and special appreciation to Mrs Lenka for proffesional and very friendly approach to the customers .

The location is great, it is only one minute to the beach. I could even see the sea from my balcony. Room is comfy, it even includes a fridge where you can store your food or drinks, which is very convenient. The staff was so friendly and tried to help with tour booking and many tips where to go. Isa even prepared a lunch package for me as I was leaving before breakfast time on my departure day. There is also a common area with water boiler, microwave and free water. Exceptional value for money!

The receptionist was great, as were all the staff we interacted with. They were very helpful and even assisted us with planning our activities in Mallorca. The rooms were cleaned daily, so everything was tidy. Breakfast was good and regularly replenished, so even later in the morning, there were still plenty of options. However, the buffet was quite basic rather than diverse. The locality must be great in hotter months, since it is really close to the beach, in February it was okay-ish.
